In a statement, the company said that some of the solutions it is implementing in Mexico are the use of solar panels to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and industrial plants, as well as energy storage systems. Quartux explained that smart lithium-ion batteries are one of the most innovative options. “These industrial lithium batteries are installed in buildings and plants in various sectors to regulate electricity, taking advantage of the times when it is cheaper, since prices tend to increase as the CFE network becomes more saturated,” said the firm.
In this way, the energy storage system can protect industrial buildings from blackouts and drastically reduce carbon emissions, in addition to generating savings of up to 40 percent on the electricity bill, which can translate into tens of thousands of pesos. According to the Ministry of Economy, in the first half of 2023, Mexico accumulated an investment of close to 29,41 billion dollars from this business model. To dimension the proportions of this capital, a productive state such as Monterrey produced profits of 5 billion 348 million dollars during 2022. “It should not be forgotten that a company that understands the new market needs in terms of energy saving and storage, as well as training and recycling, will have everything to gain to be a potential client for foreign companies that establish themselves in the country,” the company explained.
It added that it is estimated that each company that arrives in the country will need around 150 local suppliers. These Mexican businesses, which can be of almost any size, will need to comply with the strictest quality and professionalism standards, which will also include environmental parameters.
